According to recent studies, Driver’s Ed is not working. Graduated licensing programs have been far more successful. So, that’s interesting. But what, you ask, does that have to do with my 3 year old? I’m not planning to put her behind the wheel of my minivan anytime soon.

I stumbled across a new book called Nurture Shock: New Thinking About Children. When I saw the author’s name — Po Bronson — I was happy to see he’d been thoughtful enough to write a new one just for me, so I picked it up.
